Gift Aid Scheme:
Furthermore, if you are a taxpayer, the Gift Aid Scheme allows you to give money in such a way that tax you have already paid can be claimed back and added to your giving. So, with basic rate tax of 22%, a gift of £100 increases in value to £122.
Can anyone do it?
For us to claim the additional Gift Aid, you need to be a taxpayer and pay enough income tax or capital gains tax in each tax year to cover the tax reclaimed on your giving. Higher rate tax payers receive extra relief claimed through their tax return. While standing orders are helpful, tax can also be reclaimed on single donations.
The work is dependent on gifts and donations from charities and
private individuals.
Kainos requires £350k per annum to operate. The prisons we operate within provide funding, however we rely heavily on support from individuals and other charities. If you would like to support the work of the trust you can send a donation, or if you are able to make a regular contribution please complete the downloadable forms below

What if my circumstances change?
There is no legal commitment to continue so, if you need to stop or change your amount, you can. If you cease to be a taxpayer or to pay enough tax, you should notify us so that we do not reclaim too much tax on your giving (you would be liable to refund the Inland Revenue if too much tax is reclaimed).
How do I start?
If you wish to make a regular donation complete the downloadable form, including the standing order instruction, if you are making a single donation, please send cheque to:
